Clive Palmer, Linocuts, Cartoon Portraits and greetings cards.

Wells Printmaker and Artist Clive Palmer originated from London but has lived in Somerset, where he
has family roots, since 1986. He moved from Wedmore to Wells in 2000 where he became a postman.

Clive trained in etching in the early 80’s with Lucy Willis and for a while specialized in
Greetings Card illustration before deciding to focus on linocuts and cartoon portraits.

Past clients include Image by Design, Guildhall Design and also illustrations
for welcome leaflets and student packs for Wells Cathedral.
Many of his linocuts are influenced by the beautiful Somerset scenery but the
Cartoon Portraits are an enjoyable challenge being generally customer driven.

Come along to Clive’s preview where you will have the opportunity to view his work
and commission a fun cartoon, perhaps as a Christmas gift.
